We woke up a little müde after a late night with Äpfel zu Äpfeln, the German version of Apples to Apples I scored for seven Euros online. I'm super grateful to Jay and Fredrik for letting us play and for hours of German lessons to boot as they had to explain what the cards actually meant. Jay swept the game like she was Wendy playing 80's pop culture trivia.
So today we decided instead of a big hike to just stroll around one of the charming towns about Munich and ended up in Landsberg on the River Lech.
I kept expecting Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood to amble around every cobblestone corner; the cuteness was palpable.
