True, we've been to Neuschwanstein three times now, but each trip was so different. With Sarah and Dave, we saw the castle all misty and magic like following the rain, and with Maria and Jason it was bright summery day Neuschwanstein, but this trip with Jen and Scott was our crazy fall colors trips. We started our day with a mountain top lunch and hiked way over the tops of the castles. In retrospect, we should have asked Jen and Scott if either of them were afraid of heights before we planned this leg of our trip. Here you'll see Jen's white knuckle grip on the mountain while Scott is the white dot at summit. In all fairness, we were well beyond the point marked for experts only. (Along with some children and very elderly)
