Füssen

My reason for wanting to go to Füssen was predominantly the town's coat of arms. Not only does the town's name mean feet, but their crest features three of them. in a bodyless circle kick.

In addition to being named feet, Füssen has a wall around the city, and Jeremy and I are both fond of old walled cities. Jeremy loves castle teeth. Jen, Scott, Jeremy, and I got to Füssen just in time to see the city in the waning daylight and score some coffee and küchen before heading home. It's part of our plan to wear visitors down so they don't notice that our guest bed is a bit firm.

i'm pretty sure they'd sleep on the floor if they had to, since they're getting free tour guides and a free place to stay!

If I were to name a town after a body part it would be Hip. I would have Hip parties, Hip concerts and an annual Hip Hop.

actually ali, the bed is quite like the floor. but i do pack lunches for visitors on pretzel bread. often with notes on the accompanying napkins.

lou, hip town sounds pretty sweet. you could have a scandalous town crest.

A bit firm? On the softness schedule, the cobblestone street compared favorably.

Oh and I had begun to forget about the pretzel bread....damn that stuff was delicious.

I liked the bed. Really. After a beer as big as your head anything is comfortable. My town would be the town of eye. We would have lots of candy factorys, making
eye-candy. And we'd have big fancy dress up parties called
eye-balls.
