Jeremy and I officially passed the test at the conclusion of our cross country ski course today with a "gut." We were both a little surprised I think that Frans didn't give us the "sehr gut," but he was a lovely guy, and we're pretty psyched to go again.
We took the early train into Mittenwald but skied in nearby Klais, which Frans likened to Siberia. It's only twelve meters higher, but it's always colder and has more snow.
and the train station had Glühwein to go.
