Student: I have always wanted to ride an elephant, and I booked a trip to Sri Lanka. When I got to the airport, I found out that there was a giant tiramisu there and I couldn't go.
Me: a giant tiramisu? (conjuring images of gigantic Italian confection)
Student: lots of water and people dying...
Me: yeah, you mean tsunami.
