Final Cornwall Hike: Fowey and Polruan

Our final hike was definitely our favorite. With all the tropical vegetation and turquoise water, this one felt sort of like we walked from England to Greece. We started in the town of Fowey, pronounced like Foy, where we spent a few hours strolling around the peninsula on the Fowey side.
The hike started in town past doors this cute.
Then took us past numerous secluded beaches
in such stunning colors. The fetching yellow shrubs are called gorse.
and many a happy cow grazing on Gribbin Head.
Then, for a quid fifty, we took the ferry to Polruan, an ancient fishing village on the other side of the River Fowey where we carried on with our hike.
So worth the taxi, train, bus, rental car, ferry, and steep hike.

Looks amazing Em! So glad you guys can have special time together. I've missed your blog. My hikes are all done in the parking lot at work. I did spot a white squirrel the other day on my walk. Cool. :)
