The forecast for Sunday was for rain, so we were pleasantly surprised, though a little groggy from the trip to Aying, when we woke up to sunshine. We scrambled to get ready and were on our way to the mountains within about twenty minutes. It was a beautiful day for hiking, and we hiked near Tegernsee to a church called Riederstein on the top of this big rock. Stein means rock so there may be some connection. Along the way, there were grazing sheep, sunflowers, neat shrines, and the stations of the cross.

i'm going to be so mad at you if you don't put together an amazing book with all your pictures from this adventure.
you're okay with me abandoning my car in your garage and making you pay for all the repairs, but a lapse in my picture archival would make you mad?
